Don't be afraid to "get caught" looking at someone you are interested in. Eye contact is the most powerful tool to use if you are trying to lure someone from across the room.
Flirting with your eyes: Look at them, wait for them to notice, then shyly look away. Look at them again, get caught for the 2nd time and smile. If they smile back or start walking over then you scored.
Eye Contact is super important while conversating as well. If you are into the conversation then be sure to show it by keeping your focus on them. If they are a creep-o then look away at others, or up at the ceiling. Hopefully they will get the hint and get lost.
